Crown Point is located in the east of the City of Hamilton, about a 10-minute drive from the downtown core. Crown Point is split in to 2 parts, Crown Point East & Crown Point West, with Ottawa Street being the divider.
Crown Point East from Main St ⬆️ Kenilworth Av ⬅️ Rail Tracks ⬇️ Ottawa St N
Crown Point West from Main St ⬆️ Ottawa St N ⬅️ Rail Tracks ⬇️ Gage Av N
Crown Point is surrounded by these Neighbourhoods: Delta, Shipley, Homeside and the Industrial sector. Located steps to Gage Park, Tim Hortons Field, schools and small parks, public transit, The Centre on Barton and so much more!
Minutes to the QEW, 403 and RHVP and central to most of the city. When completed the new LRT (light rail transit) will run directly through Crown Point.
Ottawa Street has long been known as the spot for textiles and home decorating. Since 1985 the Ottawa Street BIA has promoted and attracted folks to the over 100 businesses as the area has continuously reinvented itself. The district is now a very trendy spot featuring restaurants, antique shops and a multitude of unique retail offerings that attract many to the area. There are several fun events throughout the year from Food Truck festivals to Sidewalk Sales making Ottawa Street a go-to destination in the City.
Some of my favourite spots: Cafe Limoncello, Cannon Coffee Company, Caro Restaurant, East Hamilton Cheese Co., Mike’s Submarines, Ottawa Street Farmers’ Market, Kerry’s Party For Less, Millionaire’s Daughter, The Hearty Hooligan

Hamilton is well known as a steel town - but its also home to the first Tim Hortons restaurant and it’s located in Crown Point. (Ottawa St N at Dunsmure). The first Tim Hortons franchise opened here in 1964.
The newly renovated restaurant
proudly features a statue of Canadian hockey player Tim Horton out front and the upper level boasts a museum showing its long history.
